Friday, Valentines day, found me packing up my stuff and moving out of my office. Yep, thi time had come for me to move on.

The Fire Marshal came to me and said "Rob, we need your office." and i got a little nervous. "But...but i've been working so hard! I mean, look at all i've accomplished! Have i been taking too long at lunch? I don't take coffee breaks at all and i have so many projects left unfinished!" He stared at me for a second and then said "No, no. We're not firing you. We just need the office."

It turns out that the new Governor is sending someone to our office and he needed a place to work so the Marshal moved me to the Bat Cave. Gee, sit here all day with my toys and not have to listen to people wandering in and out of the bathroom all day? Okay, twist my arm.

I began boxing up my stuff and singing quietly to myself, "All my bags are packed and i'm ready to go, I'm gonna live in this office no mo,'" when i noticed my collection of bottles on the shelf.

When i moved here i came apon a wonderful drink called BAWLS. BAWLS is a high caffein drink that is pretty tasty and picks you right up, much like JOLT. The difference is that BAWLS comes in this awsome cobalt blue glass bottle with all these little ridges all over it. Whenever i brough one in to drink in the morning i had placed the empty bottle on a shelf in my office and had proptly forgot about them. Since i kept forgetting them a small collection had accumulated before i noticed. After that i had purposely kept them and the collection grew. People would stop by to talk to me or ask me something and would comment on the bottles or how the collection was growing or make little jokes like "Wow! Ten bottles! is that all from today?"

So since i was moving to an area that would be on display if an official wanted to come through, i couldn't have these bottles cluttering up what office i was moving to. Then an idea came to me. I knocked on the door next to me and walked in. Larry, the head of financial matters, looked up and said whats up and i handed him a bottle. "Thank you for being a good neighbor, Larry. Here is one of my trademark blue bottles for you to remember me by." He stared at it and then said thanks. It was still sitting next to his computer when i left that night.

Anyway I went down the hall passing out bottles in the offices around me and thanking people for being good neighbors. The kids in Human Resources actually put theirs on a shelf where people would see it with a note saying what it was and who it was from, which was nice. My collection dwindled to three bottles which now sit in my apartment.

Don't know what my next collection will be but i will keep you all posted.

If anyone wants one of the three remaining "Rob's office" bottles, please e-mail me here and make sure the subject is I WANT A BOTTLE. Include your name and address and i'll respond and say "You got it" and send it to you. It is first come first serve and there are only three so get going.
